How to Acquire Officers

Three Kingdoms Tactics reimagined every famous character and hero in the Three Kingdoms period as Officers. There are various sources for you to acquire these Officers, including the login reward system, Officer Recruitment, Achievement Card Pack, Search, etc. Among the many different Officers, you will often find 5-Star Orange Officers. Next, I will be guiding you through these Officers.

The login reward system is the most basic mechanic that benefits players. Just log in to the game every day and you can claim rewards, including Coins, Gold, and even Officers (Coins, Gold, and Officers).

Not only that, players can claim the 5-Star Officer Pang De on the second day they log in to the game. Don’t underestimate Pang De just because he is an Officer that comes for free. Pang De’s Troop Quality with Bow is S, making him an ideal option when sending Bow units onto the battlefield. Additionally, you can Inherit the Tactic “Sidestep” from Pang De. This Tactic gives you damage reduction, which is an effect rarely found in Tactics. When you log in on the fifth day, you get the 5-Star Orange Officer Zhenji for free. Though Zhenji cannot lead soldiers into battles, she can help you handle internal affairs (Civic Helper).

If you Assign her as your “Training Agent,” you will start gaining additional EXP from each Training session, which helps you level up your Officers a lot faster.

When you log in on the 10th day, you will acquire the Elite Guard. Now, Elite Guard also counts as an Officer, but they can’t really fight on the battlefield. You may use Elite Guard as a Material Card to unlock Tactic slots for your Officers so that your Officers can have an extra Tactic that will help increase their overall combat power.

When you log in on the 30th day, you will acquire the 5-Star Orange Officer Yuan Shao, who is good at leading Bow units and fits to be your Commander due to his unique Innate Tactic. When Yuan Shao acts as the Commander of your team, your allies gain additional Defence in combat, which is a very powerful effect. As we previously mentioned, there are various sources for you to acquire Officers for free in Three Kingdoms Tactics. And one of those sources is Coin Search. (Coin Search)

You must first build the Search Center before you can Search for Officers. Once your Palace is at level 8, you can build the Search Center (At level 8+).

There are 5 levels to the Search Center (5 levels).

Every time you level it up, you can Search for 4 additional times (5 levels * 4 times), up to 20 times in total (5 times 4 equals 20). Just like the login reward system, the Search Center resets at midnight every day. Spend Coins at the Search Center and you have a chance to obtain Officers, Forge Materials, Treasures, and other items. You also have a chance to acquire 5-Star Orange Officers (famous characters from the Three Kingdoms period) such as Zhuge Liang, Zhang Fei, Xu Zhu, and Gan Ning. If that’s not enough for you, you may also Recruit Officers via the Legendary Recruitment feature (Legendary Recruitment), which isn’t the simple and brainless card draw system that you might expect it to be.

Every day, you can Recruit for free 2 times and Recruit for half the cost 2 times. That is 4 Recruitments each day (4 Recruitments) and 28 Recruitments each week (4 times 7 equals 28). As for the Gold you need for the 2 half-cost Recruitments available each day, you can obtain them from login rewards, quests, events, and daily Trials. From them, you will acquire a lot more Gold than what you need to Recruit at half the cost 2 times each day, which is why the half-cost Recruitments also count as free Recruitments in a sense. If you manage to Recruit 28 times a week, there is a good chance for you to acquire 5-Star Officers. You can acquire all Officers available in the current season via Legendary Recruitment.

Also, there is the Achievement Card Pack that you don’t want to miss out on. You can acquire Achievement Card Packs at the end of a season. In each season, you can obtain Gold, Coins, and Achievement Points by completing Achievement Quests. When you have more than 15000 Achievement Points, you will have a chance to get the Achievement Card Pack for the next season. From these Card Packs, you have a 100% chance to get 5-Star Orange Officers such as Zhao Yun, Gan Ning, and Zhang Jiao. If that’s not enough for you, you may also Recruit Officers via the Legendary Recruitment feature, which isn’t the simple and brainless card draw system that you might expect it to be.

Other than what we mentioned above, you can also spend Coins to Recruit 1000 Officers from General Recruitment (General Recruitment) at a single time for 4-Star Officers. These Officers can give you new Tactics and fill the empty spots in your team, helping you quickly build powerful lineups to play the game.

If this is not awesome enough for you, you may want to collect the time-limited Card Packs available from Conquest (Conquest). Unlike Legendary Recruitment, the Card Packs you earn from Conquest are more specific. Each pack will only unlock a limited range of Officers, increasing the chance for you to acquire the Officers you are looking for.

That’s about it for this guide to the acquisition of Officers (more than 100 heroes from the Three Kingdoms period). This game isn’t pay-to-win and it doesn’t have a VIP system. Everything is back to the way it should be in this game that focuses only on strategic gameplays. Thank you for your time.
